About Us

Brian grew up spending his summers in Dry Bay, so his passion for the Alaskan lifestyle and his love for fishing developed at a young age. For him, being out in Dry Bay working a net is the pinnacle of happiness. Now that’s especially true since he gets to share the riches of Dry Bay life, the life of a fisherman, with his family. The landscape of Alaska, where mountains meet the sea, and the honest work of commercial fishing is truly captivating. Brian’s father felt that captivation nearly 30+ years ago and now we are here to continue our family legacy in the wilds of Dry Bay, Alaska.

Before taking over the family fishing business Brian served in the United States Navy for 20 years working in aviation. Brian started out his Navy career as an enlisted air crewman on P-3’s, but after taking plenty of Alaskan bush flights he really desired to be in the cockpit. His hard work and dedication led him to retire as a Lt. Commander flying C-130’s out of Joint Base Andrews. During his career he was able to fly numerous different aircrafts, taste and experience most of the world, and serve alongside some truly great men and women.

Samantha had quite a different upbringing on the Great Plains of Oklahoma; perhaps that’s why she fits in so well in the remote Alaskan bush. Oklahoma women are raised to have grit and work hard despite what mother nature throws at you. Samantha spends her off season working as a RN, homeschooling the children, and working as a ceramic artist.

Each piece of salmon purchased allows us to continue our family’s commercial fishing legacy.
